Everyone has that special someone – your ride or die, your partner in crime, your BFF. What better way to celebrate #NationalBestFriendDay than spending it together, rocking matching tees!
Our avocado obsession is still going strong! So we thought of avo toast for our DIY, but feel free to make it your own. See our super easy way to create graphic t-shirts in the comfort of your own home, or your BFF’s home… because let’s be honest, that’s probably where you live.

Your BFF – duh!
Print your high-resolution images on fabric transfer paper. If you’re not sure of the size, print it on regular paper first so you can map it out on your tee. Our transfer paper instructed us to flip our images before printing. We used AVERY Fabric transfer paper
. Be sure to carefully read
and follow the instructions
of whatever brand you buy.
Cut out your image leaving a teeny bit of white space around it.
Place your pillow case on a flat surface and iron it to get rid of wrinkles. Then, place your tee on top of the pillow case and iron it, too. We didn’t have a pillow case, so we used an oversized Ardene shirt instead. You just need something to protect whatever surface you’re ironing on.
Place your image facing down (again – this depends on the brand you’re using) and start ironing it, applying lots of pressure and focusing on the edges.
The big reveal! Don’t stress – take your time and slowly peel off the tissue paper starting from any corner. It’s so satisfying to watch.
Now get out there and show off your DIY tees! These can be paired with a pair of jeans or a cute denim skirt.
