EASTER DIY: CHOCOLATE NESTS

What’s cuter than a chocolate nest filled with mini eggs? Literally nothing. Okay, maybe a baby bunny but that’s it.

I whipped these up for Easter; these little guys only take 30 minutes to make! I made enough for 4 people.

YOU NEED

Mini eggs – 1 bag

Milk chocolate bars – 1 ½ bars

Thin pretzel sticks – 1 ½ cups

Shredded coconut – ¼ cup

STEP 1

Line a cookie sheet – or large plate – with wax paper, and set it aside.

STEP 2

Microwave the chocolate in a bowl for 90-second intervals. Take it out each time to stir it so you don’t burn it.

STEP 3

Break the pretzel sticks in half. Now add them to the melted chocolate, and stir them until they’re totally covered in chocolate.

STEP 4

With a spoon, scoop the pretzel-chocolate mixture and place it on the wax paper. Form little nests and leave a little circle in the middle. This is where the eggs will lay. Dawww.

STEP 5

Add some shredded coconut on top of the nests.

STEP 6

Refrigerate the nests for 30 minutes. Once they’re ready, add 3-5 mini eggs in the center. And you’re done!

Happy Easter babes!
