It still feels like summer over here in San Francisco, but I’ve been craving all things FALL. So to help really set the mood, Robin and I drove down to Half Moon Bay this week to hit a pumpkin patch, make bad squash-related puns and get in full pumpkin spiced latte mode.
I scoured Pinterest images for pumpkin patch outfit inspiration, trying to figure out what to wear, and I found this head to toe look from Ardene!

Half Moon Bay is a sleepy seaside town about 45 minutes South of San Francisco on Highway 1. They’re world-famous for their pumpkins, specifically the annual pumpkin festival each October. I grew up in Wisconsin, and I miss going to farms each fall with my family… getting lost in the corn mazes, picking out the PERFECT pumpkin for carving, drinking apple cider.
When it came time to get dressed for our pumpkin patch trip, I channeled my inner fall goddess with the help of these cute pieces from Ardene!
I went with the corduroy 70’s vibe here, but with an updated twist. Throwback pants with an emerald green crop top sweater (so trendy this season) and what I swear is the softest jacket I’ve ever worn. (seriously, this jacket feels like clouds, I’m obsessed.)
Pumpkin patch fashion isn’t complete without a good hat, and I love this burgundy beret from Ardene. It’ll be a great fall and winter piece that I can wear in October but also February. Plus, it looks extra cute in photos!
Farmer John’s in Half Moon Bay was the perfect way to kick off the season, but my local pumpkin patch in the city will be opening soon so I’ll be heading to the patches again soon (the beauty of fall is you can never have too many pumpkins, right?!)
